“I have struggled with weight loss and balancing my blood sugar for a long time. Although I have worked with a Functional Medicine doctor and traditional medical doctor, it is with Paige that I have made the most progress with my weight and blood sugar. I have received a plethora of knowledge that is personal to me—this is what has made the biggest difference because everyone’s body is different. Through testing, she was able to identify foods that were triggers for me that my body was constantly fighting, resulting in massive inflammation—no wonder I was not making progress. She has taught me so much about digestion, stress management and how the different foods have a different effect on “my” blood sugar levels. Just because food is “good for you”, doesn’t mean it is good for “YOU”. I thought I was a pretty healthy eater before I met Paige—organic and lots of vegetables, quality fats, and that occasional glass of wine. But, Paige has taught me that some of these foods were actually causing inflammation to my body and some were raising my blood sugar levels.
Even though we still have some work to do, Paige has helped me to make so much progress that I have dropped almost 30 pounds and rarely do I experience the blurry vision from blood sugar imbalance. I no longer have joint pain that was most likely attributed to the inflammatory foods I was consuming and my gut microbiome has improved. Paige has taught me a lot about how I eat and when I eat and what I eat. Her thoroughness and knowledge have been an asset to my overall health. She has guided me every step of the way and offered alternatives when necessary. Because of my busy and stressful work schedule, it has not been easy—but, she has supported me and helped to make it manageable and well worth the effort.
