“I have struggled with weight loss and balancing my blood sugar for a long time. Although I have worked with a Functional Medicine doctor and traditional medical doctor, it is with Paige that I have made the most progress with my weight and blood sugar. I have received a plethora of knowledge that is personal to me—this is what has made the biggest difference because everyone’s body is different. Through testing, she was able to identify foods that were triggers for me that my body was constantly fighting, resulting in massive inflammation—no wonder I was not making progress. “I started working with Paige because I was concerned with my health, especially since my health history includes a past diagnosis with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Paige really understood where I was coming from and, most importantly, where I wanted to be at. She was extremely thorough in taking my history and, for the first time in a very long time, I felt that I was really being “heard”. She gave me options as to how to approach testing. After testing was completed, she sat down with me to review my results and she was able to “connect the dots” between my symptoms/concerns and the test results. “When I started working with Paige I had inflammation/pain in both of my thumb joints, right toe and shoulder. I also have chronic tension headaches that I have had for 20+ years. Surgery on my right thumb was already planned because it was too far gone. We had our first consultation which was very informative and also led to other questionnaires. This is so Paige can get to know a lot about you so she can help your unique situation. Nobody is the same and each person needs a program just for them. I started with the suggestions that she gave me concerning food, water intake and possible supplements. I don’t like vegetables so I imagine I am not an easy person to work with. I am also lactose intolerant so that also limits what I can eat. I did start to add greens in my diet as suggested, not all that was suggested but I did get more in than I have ever eaten before. I also started using proper fats and better meats, making better choices and meals. After a short time of incorporating some of the protocols, I noticed the pain go down in my shoulder and right hand. The pain was gone in my toe and my left hand. I was having fewer headaches. I kept a food journal and paid attention to what I ate and how I felt. We realized that some foods were making me sluggish and that eggs were causing some of my headaches to name a couple of things. Paige gave suggestions on what I could/should do so I could keep eggs in my diet. Her suggestion worked and I didn’t need to totally remove them. I changed up some other foods and I stopped feeling sluggish.

Blood work was suggested and I had that done. She checks so much more than my primary physician. The results are so much more informative than what you get from your doctor. Very eye-opening!! Adjustments were made after blood work. I followed her suggestions and I was feeling better. I lost some weight too! I had my surgery and I fell off a little bit because it was hard to do for myself. I am still recovering and I am slowly getting back to where I was prior to my surgery. I plan to continue following her recommendations. I know I will be so much better in doing so.
